This Privacy Policy applies to the Cast to TV: Screen Mirroring mobile application (the "App"), developed and operated by S2SOFT INFOTECH LLP ("we", "our", or "us").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal and non-personal data when you use our App on Android and iOS devices, and the choices you have associated with that data.
1. Information Collection and Use
A. Local Device Data & Media (Offline / Local Processing)
Our App provides screen mirroring and media casting services. All casting and media processing occur directly between your device and your connected Smart TV/receiver over your local Wi-Fi network:
* Photos and Videos: We access your local gallery (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription) solely to let you select and stream media directly to your Smart TV via DLNA, UPnP, or WebRTC. Your media is never uploaded, stored, or processed on our external servers.
* Camera: We access your device camera (CAMERA, NSCameraUsageDescription) only when you explicitly use the live Camera Cast feature. No camera frames or recordings are collected, saved, or uploaded to any remote server.
* Screen Projection: We utilize the MediaProjection API (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION, FOREGROUND_SERVICE) to capture and stream your screen to your selected TV in real-time. We do not store or transmit your screen data to external servers.
* Audio Disclaimer: The App does not request or use microphone or audio recording permissions (RECORD_AUDIO).
B. Automatically Collected Information & Third-Party Services
To facilitate ad serving, cloud configuration, crash reporting, and analytics, the App integrates third-party SDKs that may collect technical and pseudonymous information:
* Device & Usage Identifiers: IP address, operating system version, device model, hardware specifications, app version, and mobile advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / AD_ID and iOS IDFA/SKAdNetwork identifiers).
* Crash & Performance Data: Diagnostics, crash logs, and app performance metrics.
2. Third-Party Service Providers

3. Permissions & Purpose
* INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE (Android): Verify Wi-Fi connectivity and stream media over the network.
* CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE (Android): Discover DLNA, UPnP, and AirPlay devices on the local Wi-Fi.
* NSLocalNetworkUsageDescription, NSBonjourServices (iOS): Discover and connect to Smart TVs/DLNA receivers on local network.
* READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription (Android / iOS): Allow user selection of local photos/videos for TV streaming.
* CAMERA, NSCameraUsageDescription (Android / iOS): Stream live camera feed to TV during Camera Cast sessions.
* FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION (Android): Maintain continuous display streaming and mirroring.
* AD_ID, SKAdNetworkItems (Android / iOS): Serve contextual and personalized advertisements.
* POST_NOTIFICATIONS, remote-notification (Android / iOS): Deliver push notifications and background service alerts.
* BILLING (Android / iOS): Process in-app purchases and subscription upgrades.
4. In-App Purchases & Payments
If you purchase premium features or subscriptions, all payment processing is handled exclusively through Google Play In-App Billing (Android) or Apple App Store In-App Purchases (iOS). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card or financial information.
5. Data Retention & Security
* Local Media: All media streams, camera feeds, and screen mirroring data remain strictly within your local network and are not retained or stored once the streaming session ends.
* Analytics & Ad Data: Non-personal diagnostic and advertising data collected by third-party SDKs are retained in accordance with their respective retention policies.
* Security: We value your trust in providing access to your device features and use industry-standard security measures to safeguard data transmission.
6. Children's Privacy
Our App is rated for general audiences (Everyone / 3+ / 4+). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us so we can take necessary actions.
